Mortise
A lock designed to be recessed into the door rather than applied to the door’s surface.

Cylindrical
A bored lock with a cylindrical case into which a separate latch bolt case fits.

High Security Keyed Systems
- All high security keyed systems need to have an authorized signature from owner or end-user to purchase keys
- Keys can only be purchased through authorized distributors
- Many high security cylinders also available in UL437 burglary resistant
Interchangeable Core Cylinders (IC Core Cylinders)
- Allows the immediate rekeying of a lock by replacing the cylinder without having to remove the lock from the door
- Cylinder can be removed only with specially designed control key
- Some high security IC cores available
