Fire Rating Requirements for Wood Doors
- The maximum rating available on fire rated wood doors is B label (90 minute). See the overall width and height as allowed by your specific wood door manufacturer.
- Lites: A maximum of 100 square inches of visible glass is allowed on B label doors. A maximum of 1296 square inches of visible glass is allowed on C label and 20 minute doors. Lite sizes are based on fire rated 1/4" wire glass.
- Double egress is available.
